This was the first concept that came to mind (with the help of others). I utilized my favorite concept model from the previous assignment.
I created spaces underneath the positive and negative spaces in the model, and just played with it a little. I'm going to follow through with this design this week and see where it takes me.

ReplyDelete-I understand you say NYC lacks of venues that play electronic music but I would like to know the approach on how you will manage to put into consideration the neighborhood where your site is located. How will your building affect the neighborhood? Positively and negatively. NYC being more of a macro thought you can now consider going micro.
-Can you briefly explain how does your Design Sketch #1 relates to your collage "Connection".
I'd like to se more experiments based on this concept model. I understand this is your first sketch, but dont restrain yourself too much. Your design doesn't have to look exactly like the concept. Take it as it is.. "a concept." Go further! explore the waves... pattern, rhythm.. whatever you see on that!
